I spend hours combing the seashore gathering treasures from the tide's bounty. I have gathered many round, smooth bits of shells with holes in the centers. Captivated by the beautiful spirals hidden within, I have cast these in sterling silver. I find many interesting pieces of coral and cast these in sterling silver to highlight their magnificent shapes and textures. The movement of seaweed floating in the water and the way it twists and tangles itself on the shore has influenced me to replicate its shape and movement in sterling silver. I have created the silver seaweed collection by hand soldering beads onto reclaimed sterling silver wire.
